Its not enough to have just virus protection as hackers use very sophisticated ways to extract your details from your computer, even when you are using it. They can get hold of card numbers, personal details, and so on and use these things to rob your bank account and even steal your house from under you.

People are often blind to the possibility that the people who work for them might be thieves, criminals, and/or linked to drug dealing, pedophilia and so on. Protecting yourself in this instance is harder but you can get background checks on everyone you do business with or just associate with. This can be both a life saver and something that might prevent a lot of heartache for you and your family.
